Instructions for making MS/HS
English Notecards (Mr. Litchford)
On 4 x 6 cards put the following
information:
Card one - The title of the book -underlined and the author
and setting(s)
Back of card one - a list of
the major characters and a brief description of each
Card two - a brief summary of
the book
Back of card two - the themes
of the book
Card three - a list of
literary devices used in the book and their significance
Back of card three - any
additional insight you might have for the book (i. e. the
type of novel it may have been - psychological, historical,
allegorical, etc.
